Up-and-coming artist Delacey has released a new single called "The Subway Song."

On the new track, the Los Angeles-based singer captures the very relatable paradox of homesickness in the chaos of New York City. She wrote and recorded it in NYC last summer while working with co-producer Ido Zmishlany.

"A song can come any time and place for me," says Delacey of the new track. "Even when I’m crying on a subway home from the studio and have to write it on my phone."

While "Subway Song" might have come out of an emotional situation, it's a glowing, delicate offering showcasing her enormous vocal talent.
