Newcomer Jane Holiday is ready to kick off a steady flow of new music.

The Los Angeles-based artist is today releasing his new single "Future Retro Super Soul" into the world, premiering first on Variance. The upbeat, vibrant new track is off his upcoming debut EP, which is expected to arrive in June.

"In a world that’s so hyper-focused on the internet and the digital age, I’m just sitting here dreaming of the old world," says Jane Holiday of the new song. "Trying to breathe life back into the old charm. It’s probably my biggest strength, and biggest weakness. At the end of the day we’re all just 'out putting' our 'input.' I’m 6’3", half Indian, a quarter black and a quarter white. If my genome isn’t an indication of the modern world, I don’t know what is. I want everyone who hears my music to feel like they can accomplish whatever they want. The same feeling I had when I first heard The Strokes or Amy Winehouse. Whether that’s an old feeling like it was for me, or a new feeling for young kids."
