Just weeks after sharing his recent single "Play the Part," emerging artist Tucker Pillsbury (aka ROLE MODEL) is back with another standout, this time the vulnerable new single "Six Speed."

The confessional cut, which arrived Thursday with an accompanying performance video, plays like an audio diary entry, with Pillsbury admitting to feelings of isolation and experience with depression.

"The six speed bike is supposed to be a metaphor for manic depression," he says of the new song. "The six speeds on my bike are like having six different moods that just shift back and forth whenever they please."

As we previously mentioned, ROLE MODEL is signed to Benny Blanco's Mad Love Records and Interscope, and he's planning to release his debut album next year. The music is said to be inspired by his personal struggles after a life-threatening ski accident.
