At long last, Lorde has released her new single "Green Light."

It's the first preview of the singer's upcoming sophomore album, Melodrama, which is expected to arrive this summer. It was produced by Lorde herself alongside Jack Antonoff and Frank Dukes.

The video for "Green Light" was directed by Grant Singer, whose recent credits include videos for Taylor Swift, The Weeknd and Phantogram. The song itself was inspired by Lorde's first major heartbreak.

Her forthcoming album has been one of Variance's 50 Albums to Watch for in 2017.
