Veep star Julia Louis-Dreyfus thanked the Screen Actors Guild at Sunday night's SAG Awards with a hilarious—and heartbreaking—nod to the President.
As she took the stage to accept her win for Best Female Actor in a Comedy Series, she made clear her win is valid: "Whether the Russians did or did not hack the voting of tonight's SAG Awards, I look out at the million—or probably million and a half people in this room—and I say, this award is legitimate. And I won! I'm the winner! The winner is me. Landslide!"
She went on to a "less insane note," pointing out she is a proud daughter of an immigrant, as her father was born in France and his family fled the Nazi-occupied country during World War II.
"I'm an American patriot and I love this country," the actress said. "And because I love this country, I am horrified by its blemishes. And this immigrant ban is a blemish and it is un-American."
