With her debut I Hate Spring EP out this spring (yes, the irony!), newcomer Charlie Houston is really drawing us with her new song "Things."

The track arrived Friday along with a video, and it's delivering some hypnotic, Clairo-meets-Maggie-Rogers vibes. It follows her other recent song "Calls," the lead single off the upcoming EP, which is out on April 23 via Arts & Crafts.

"It's sort of about becoming so infatuated with someone that you begin to lose sight of who you are," says Houston of the new song. "Also comparing yourself to the kind of person you think they want, and trying to become that."
