Happy Friday to all of us. James Blake has officially shared his cover of Frank Ocean's "Godspeed."

The new version arrived Friday along with an intimate video featuring Blake solo performing the song on the piano. Many fans likely know his history with the track runs deep, as he produced, arranged and performed on the original song which appears on Ocean's 2016 album Blonde.

As Blake has come to open up to fans and perform a series of Instagram Live shows since the onset of the pandemic, he recently shared a brief portion of his cover of "Godspeed," which inspired a massive response on Instagram and TikTok, essentially urging Blake to release a full version.

“This song has always been special to me, but I wasn’t expecting the response it’s gotten," he confesses. "Love to everyone who willed the full recording into existence.”
