Oh, now it's real. Shura is releasing a new album and it's coming in August.

After returning back in March with a new single and on a new label (Secretly Canadian), she has now released a frisky new song called "religion (u can lay your hands on me)," which comes with an accompanying video and news that her sophomore album, titled forevher, will be out on Aug. 16.

The new record was largely inspired by Shura’s relationship with her girlfriend and its long-distance conception. She calls it a "soul record, sung by someone who doesn’t have a traditional soul voice. And I quite enjoy the antagonism of that."
