After recently sharing their first single "Ramon," New York-based outfit TELECOMS is now ready to share their newest release, "Two Steps."

The evocative, retro-tinged track from the group, helmed by Brooklyn-based ringleader Sean McVerry, is premiering today on Variance, and it showcases a '60s Britpop energy with a vintage-like accompanying video directed by Matt Speno.

According to McVery, the new track, "like many of the initial songs from TELECOMS, began in a cluttered home studio," he continues. "In a way, it was written as an escapist response to the lockdown—a velvety, theatrical daydream."

McVerry's past credits include working and touring with the likes of Karen O, Danger Mouse, members of J. Cole's Dreamville label roster and more. The new song is out now via Better Company Records, with more on the way.
