As she continues to tease her looming Ready to Burn EP, which is coming next year, Saya is sharing a simmering new track today called "Death of Me."

The sultry new offering is out today and it's the second single off the singer's upcoming project, following the recent release of "Sick."

"I remember the first time I heard the intro sample of the song—I was going through sample sounds with Toronto producer Mal and I knew we had to use it," says Saya. "There was something eerie about it—when I heard it, it made me feel like I was spiraling, which matched the lyrics perfectly. I ended up going over to my writing partner Alexandra Soumalias' house and we wrote the song in two hours. The song is about unresolved attraction and lingering tension felt after breaking up."
