Rochester artist Ronnie Watts recently teamed up with friend and music maker Jorlov for their new collaboration "Wake Up."
The two are releasing a video for the new track on Wednesday, but they're premiering it a day early on Variance. The rainy and moody clip serves as a fitting set of visuals for the song, which is a beacon of light for those struggling with depression, anxiety and feeling otherwise hopeless.
"'Wake Up' is an important song to us because it’s about getting through dark times," says Watts. "When you wake up in the middle of the night, the world feels frozen and it feels like you’re the only one awake. You have to have something to get you through when life gets tough, whether it’s friends, family, or music. I hope people will hear this song and feel like they have two new friends to lean on."
