Emerging outfit EMÆL is releasing a new single this week, but we've got an early listen.
The track, called "Three60," is delightfully haunting, showcasing the wide range of skillset from the cello-fronted five-piece, which seamlessly tackles a variety of soundscapes, refusing to be confined to just one genre of music. It's a cinematic yet chilling experience, hair-raising in a good way.
"Three60 is a dark Alt-Electronic song with jagged drums, hidden guitars, and intimate vocals," the band says, hinting at the forthcoming video. "The sci-fi music video features desert landscapes, spacesuits, and bubbling aliens. It plays on ideas of the story of Sisyphus and how knowledge interacts with personal happiness and self-discovery."
Hear the new song below, and find it everywhere on Thursday.
