Emerging singer Christian Cohle is starting the weekend with his new song "Ghost."

The Dublin-born artist is premiering the spellbinding cut today on Variance, giving a glimpse of the singer's upcoming album Holy Trouble, which is expected to be released later this year. The haunting new track has a very James Blake, enamoring sound to it.

"'Ghost' is about a state of collapse. Comparing one loss after another," says Cohle. "There's a spiritual angst and turmoil within the song. While I was writing the lyrics I kept getting this stark image of a tower falling, singled out onto this vast empty plain. That definitely informed how I visualized the song and what it meant to me."

This is Cohle's second release, following his debut single "Breathe," which arrived earlier this year. And if "Ghost" is any indication, you should definitely keep an eye on him.
