Emerging New Zealand outfit Mild Orange is heading into the weekend (are we still tracking weekends anyway?) with a video for their new single "Making Things."
The hazy, daydreamy track is accompanied by an equally psychedelic set of visuals, premiering today on Variance. The animated, Gumby-like clip perfectly cements the song's Real Estate-esque vibes.
"The song is about relationships and the feelings of uncertainty someone may experience before they dive into one, which ultimately often ends up being more exciting and positive than it is concerning," says the band. "The video presents that in a unique way and we’re ready for the world to see it and perhaps take on their own meanings too."
The new song is a preview of Mild Orange's upcoming self-titled album, which is being released May 29. It's the followup to their 2018 debut Foreplay.
