Hangout Music Festival on Tuesday became the first major annual fest to reveal its 2018 lineup, with Kendrick Lamar and The Killers among next year's headliners.

The rest of the lineup has plenty of bright spots and a number of less-exciting acts. Among the highlights are SZA, Anderson .Paak, Portugal. The Man, St. Vincent, ODESZA, Cashmere Cat, Alice Merton, Lauv, Noname, DeJ Loaf, Hippo Campus, Banners, Logic and Halsey.

The roster also includes a headlining stint from The Chainsmokers as well as performances from usual suspects on the festival circuit, such as Cold War Kids, Zedd, AWOLNATION, Bleachers, Grouplove, Foster the People and more.

Hangout 2018 is set for May 18-20, with tickets going on sale this Thursday (Nov. 16). It's worth noting, the Gulf Shores, Alabama fest has traditionally announced its lineup much earlier than other spring festivals, usually announcing in November, as it's done for the last three years.

Buku Music + Art Project in New Orleans and SXSW, which both take place in March, have also begun announcing next year's performers, although each has only unveiled partial lineups.
