Snoop Dogg will be this year's SXSW Music keynote speaker, the festival revealed Tuesday morning.

The multi-platinum rapper will deliver the keynote on Friday, March 20, from the Austin Convention Center.

He follows Lady Gaga, Dave Grohl and Bruce Springsteen, each of whom have served as the Austin fest's keynote speaker over the past three years.
