Selfie sticks, like flammable substances and weapons, will be prohibited from this year's Coachella and Lollapalooza.

Chicago's NBC affiliate first reported Lolla's decision, while Brooklyn Vegan notes that Coachella has added the photo attachments to their respective lists of what not to bring on the grounds.

Lollapalooza makes pretty clear that "GoPro attachments like sticks, selfie sticks [and] monopods" will not be allowed, and Coachella's FAQs ban "selfie sticks" aka "narsisstics."

Ultra Music Festival, which is in progress this weekend, was first to notify attendees earlier this month that "selfie sticks or other poles are not allowed" at this year's event in Miami.
