JAY Z will once again bring the Budweiser Made in America Festival back to Philadelphia this Labor Day weekend (Sept. 5 and 6), the fest has confirmed.
Unlike last year, however, Los Angeles won't be hosting its own edition of the two-day event. According to the Los Angeles Times, Grant Park's inability to handle such a large event coupled with complaints from local residents about the noise played a role in the decision.
As Rolling Stone points out, Billboard published and then redacted a report claiming JAY Z and Budweiser are planning a free concert on New York's Liberty Island, with Mary J. Blige reportedly headlining.
While organizers have long said via social media the fest would return in some capacity this year, official details have been slim and a lineup has yet to be announced.
