For the San Francisco fest, it actually does mean a return to its usual summer slot on Aug. 5-7, after delaying last year's edition until Halloween weekend due to the Covid pandemic, which forced the fest (like most others) to cancel the 2020 event completely.
This year's lineup features Green Day, Post Malone and SZA headlining, while the likes of Jack Harlow, Phoebe Bridgers, Lil Uzi Vert, Disclosure, Weezer, Pusha T, Dominic Fike, Mac DeMarco, 100 gecs and more will also perform.
"We are ecstatic to unveil this year’s lineup, which is one of the most dynamic and diverse we’ve ever had," said Allen Scott, co-founder and co-producer of Outside Lands and president of concerts and festivals at Another Planet Entertainment. "We are ready to get back to Golden Gate Park with our original summer dates again. Last year's festival was not only a cathartic experience, but a much-needed celebration for the Bay Area and beyond. We can’t wait to do it all again with our Outside Lands community this August.”
