Chris Brown is back in trouble with the law, as the Los Angeles Police Department is investigating an alleged assault.
TMZ first reported an unnamed claimed the singer threatened her with a gun inside his home. LAPD Officer Liliana Preciado has since confirmed officers responded to a 911 call just after 3 a.m. on Tuesday morning.
While officers waited to acquire a search warrant to enter Brown's home, the singer took to Instagram to complain about once again being embroiled in legal issues. "Every three months y’all come up with something, bro," he said. "What is it? What’s gonna be next? Imma fart an elephant?"
He then proceeded to taunt police as they waited outside: “Good luck," he said in the video. "When you get the warrant or whatever you need to do, you’re going to walk right up in here and you’re going to see nothing, you idiots. I’m tired of ... dealing with y’all.”
According to TMZ, police have subsequently retrieved multiple weapons, including a firearm, as well drugs from Brown's property.
Update: As of 8 p.m. EST, Los Angeles police have confirmed Brown was arrested late Tuesday afternoon on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon.
He was released early Wednesday morning on $250,000 bond and is due in court for his arraignment scheduled for Sept. 20.
