It seems J. Cole is setting out to buck the system entirely this summer. After deciding to move up his Born Sinner album release date to compete with Kanye West's Yeezus on June 18, the MC will be hitting the road in support of the new record on what he's calling the Dollar and a Dream Tour—which will literally only cost $1 per ticket.
The 10-city tour is has not announced venues, and they likely won't until the day of the show. As the tour will follow a "secret show" format, tickets will not be sold in advance and entry will be on a first come, first serve basis.
Jay-Z’s D’Ussé cognac will sponsor the tour, which includes dates in Miami, Atlanta, Boston and Chicago.
