REPORT: Kanye West's New Album 'Yeezus' Due June 18 [UPDATED]

Kanye West will return next month with a new solo album titled Yeezus, due June 18. This news came just hours before he performed on the Saturday Night Live season finale. Artwork for the album seen left.

UPDATE: West's website had put up a link to pre-order the album ($9.99 digitally and $14.99 physically), but they have since removed those links.

He had recently tweeted the date "June 18," interpreted by some in the industry to be the release date for the album. That remained to be confirmed, but on Saturday, Rap-Up.com reported the title andrelease date as solid.

The rapper gave fans another G.O.O.D. Friday this week, premiering a new track in the form of a video projected on the side of buildings in major cities across the globe, including Los Angeles, Chicago, Paris and Sydney. The song is called "New Slaves."

Frank Ocean's mother on Saturday also revealed that the voice at the end of the track is her son. This has since been confirmed.

Ahead of Ye's golden performance slot on this weekend's Saturday Night Live's season finale, the rapper had also been hosting listening parties for his new record. The new material is said to be mostly "dark" but "really good."

We previously reported back in February that West had promised new music "in a couple months." Given the SNL performance, it fit perfectly with the timeline.

West has been working with a ton of collaborators this round, including Daft Punk, Skrillex, The-Dream, Azealia Banks and more.
