TNT has canceled Sunday's third season premiere of The Last Ship following the tragic mass shooting in Orlando earlier this morning.
The network's decision is due to scenes in the episode which feature gunmen opening fire in a Vietnamese nightclub and killing multiple individuals.
"As a result of the shootings this weekend in Orlando, tonight's originally scheduled season premiere of The Last Ship has been postponed," TNT said in a statement provided to Variance this afternoon. "Our hearts are with the victims and their families."
Earlier Sunday morning, a gunman invaded Pulse, a gay nightclub in Orlando, killing at least 52 and injuring more than 50 others. It is the largest mass shooting in American history.
A new premiere date for Last Ship was not immediately confirmed.
