Transparent has been renewed for a fourth season, Amazon announced Tuesday.

The news comes only months after the dramedy's second season, which premiered back in December. And its third season, which is currently in editing, is expected to arrive this fall.

“Amazon’s explosive freedom and revolutionary thinking has given birth to this show,” creator Jill Soloway said today in a statement. “It’s so much more than TV to us, it’s our version of the most ambitious streaming art we can conjure ... This news of an order for season four is so so sweet. The Pfeffermans have many more stories to tell and we can’t wait to keep making them.”

The Amazon original, which was Variance's Best TV Show of 2014, stars Jeffrey Tambor, Judith Light, Gaby Hoffmann, Amy Landecker and Jay Duplass.

The show's fourth season will premiere in late 2017.
