After announcing a string of international tour dates late last year, Sigur Rós on Saturday evening shared a brief video teasing a full North American tour as well.
As we previously reported, the band has promised new material this year. "All we can say right now is it’s going to be different, with new unreleased songs, a new show and maybe some other new things," they said in November. "Beyond that, we can only ask you to trust us on this one.”
Complete dates and details on the North American tour are expected Monday.
According to a press release received on Monday (April 4), the band will perform without additional musicians (their brass and string sections as well as support acts). All shows will begin promptly at 8:30 p.m. sharp and feature two sets from the band with one intermission.
See the tour dates below. Tickets go on sale April 8.
