Drake's OVO Fest Cancels First Day Because of Frank Ocean's Vocal Injuries

Many fans knew it was a possibility, but Live Nation has now confirmed that Drake's OVO Fest in Toronto has canceled its first day of events due to Frank Ocean's vocal cord tear.

The once two-day festival will be compressed into one day, with James Blake performing on Aug. 5 alongside Drake and Wale, instead of his originally scheduled Aug. 4 date. Ticket holders can receive refunds at point of purchase.

As we previously reported, Ocean suffered a vocal injury while in Australia last week, forcing him to cancel his remaining dates in July.

Ocean has also canceled his performance at Montreal’s Osheaga Festival, which was scheduled for this week.
