Now that most series are deep into production mode again, we're learning bits and pieces about casting and story lines. The latest news comes from New Girl, which has begun shooting its season premiere.

According to TVLine, the opener will see Jess (Zooey Deschanel) and Nick (Jake Johnson) will head off to Mexico for a romantic getaway. But it's Jess and Nick, so things won't go as planned.

The episode will reportedly include a lot of mishaps, misunderstandings and tasering from a security guard. Of course, Schmidt and the gang come to save the day, but that only makes matters worse.
