Following days of what we've noted as some clever marketing by pop princess Katy Perry, the singer's shiny, gold promo truck hit a bump in the road on Friday—kind of literally.
As TMZ points out, the promo-mobile was struck by a drunk driver Friday evening in Pennsylvania. The incident, which took place in a Walmart parking lot, caused significant damage to the cab of the semi.
According to Perry's stylist, the hilarious Johnny Wujek, all passengers are OK ("#noJuanWasHurt"). The pop star herself has not been traveling inside the truck, which has been trekking across America to promote the Oct. 22 release of her new album, Prism.
Following the accident, Perry tweeted: "THE #PRISM SEMI IS BUMPED & BRUISED BUT SHE IS A CHAMPION! SHE WILL RETURN..."
