After a delay in the start of his upcoming arena tour, Drake still has a mess on his hands.
The "Would You Like a Tour?" trek is set to finally commence this week in Pittsburgh, but Future has been removed from the opening roster. And he's taking issue with that.
According to the New York Post, Drake was not happy with statements from fellow MC Future during an interview with Billboard, in which he said that “Drake made an album that is full of hits but it doesn’t grab you. They’re not possessive; they don’t make you feel the way I do.”
Future has defended his comments, saying they were off the record. The rapper was reportedly on track to collect $40,000 a night during the tour, and he now plans to file a lawsuit against Drake for lost wages, which is in the ballpark of a nice $1.5 million.
At press time, a replacement (should there be one) for Future hasn't been set, although previously announced opener Miguel is still slated to open for all dates.
