Some fans waiting to see Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues will have the opportunity to do so ahead of its official release date, with the purchase of a "superticket."
Paramount, having previously launched a similar program for World War Z, will allow fans to see the comedy sequel two days ahead of its Dec. 20 premiere. The "superticket" is part of a partnership between the studio, AMC Theatres and Fandango.
At press time, pricing and details had not been released, but the World War Z "superticket" was $50 and included an HD digital copy of the film (received at a later date), a small popcorn, a pair of custom 3D glasses and a film poster.
It's worth noting that "supertickets" for World War Z were only available in five U.S. cities. There would likely be more for the new Anchorman film.
Anchorman 2 "supertickets" will be made available for order starting Nov. 26. Click here for details.
