Bruce Springsteen's New Album, 'High Hopes,' Due Jan. 14

After weeks of teasing, Bruce Springsteen was expected to make an official announcement on Monday morning. Fortunately, he made the big reveal Sunday night instead.

Less than two years after his last album, Wrecking Ball, Springsteen will release High Hopes on Jan. 14. Unlike that last effort, the new set will include some original material, covers and tweaked versions of previously released tracks.

A new single, the album's title track, is expected to be confirmed on Monday. The Havilanas cover first appeared on Springsteen's 1996 Blood Brothers EP.
