Beyoncé closed out 2013 with quite the bang, but she's kicking off the new year just as strong.
Her surprise self-titled album has now sold more than 1.3 million copies—all within a 17-day timeframe, having notched another 310,000 copies this past week, according to Nielsen SoundScan. That total gives the singer more than a wide lead over the competition, securing a third consecutive week at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.
As we previously reported, Beyoncé's album is expected to land among the top 10 highest-selling albums of 2013.
