Abel Tesfaye (aka The Weeknd) took to Twitter on Tuesday to tease new music coming later this month.

"February = new age, new xo gear, new music," the singer tweeted, following a rather quiet couple of months. He's been laying low following his string of dates opening for Justin Timberlake back in November.

It's worth noting that since he mentions "new age," his birthday is Sunday (Feb. 16), so new tunes may not be all that far away.

As we previously reported, The Weeknd appears on Rick Ross' forthcoming album, Mastermind, for a track titled "In Vein." Considering the March 4 album release, it's also possible that could be the "new music" in question.
