Lana Del Rey's slow-burning, major label debut album, Born to Die, has now sold over 1 million copies in North America.
Having arrived on Jan. 31, 2012 via Interscope, the set has yet to fall out of the Billboard 200, placing at No. 76 this week, its 112th week on the American albums chart.

According to Nielsen SoundScan, the album sold 5,000 copies this past week, enough to push it past the platinum mark.
The news comes ahead of the singer's forthcoming sophomore album, Ultraviolence, which is expected this summer.
