Kanye West fans in Australia will apparently have to wait a little longer for their live Yeezus experience, as Live Nation revealed on Tuesday morning (local time) that the rapper is postponing his scheduled tour stops.
The dates, originally slated for May, have been moved to September, according to Roc Nation.
Ironically, the news comes for fans on April Fools' Day in Australia. But the reasoning for the delay, as Roc Nation explains, is "due to unexpected timing requirements to finish his highly anticipated new studio album." So fingers crossed on this one.
West said back in November he hoped to have a new album ready to release this summer. Earlier this year, his upcoming project was named one of Variance's 40 Albums to Watch for in 2014.
