Following their contributions to the soundtrack for Lone Survivor last year, Explosions in the Sky plan to tour through May before settling down to work on their new album.

The band revealed Saturday afternoon on their website that they "just finished another [soundtrack] a few days ago for a completely different movie," with details expected in the coming weeks.

As far as their next full-length, the band is slated to perform throughout Asia later this month and into May. Upon their return, they are "going to start working in earnest on writing songs for a new album." The band hesitated to put a timeline on their next release, noting that "it's all up in the air at the moment."

Explosions' last LP was 2011's Take Care, Take Care, Take Care. The Lone Survivor soundtrack is available now digitally.
