Bill Hader is set to create and star in a new project for HBO.

According to Deadline, the Saturday Night Live vet has signed an exclusive deal with the premium cable network to develop a new series.

Thew news comes just days after the popular comedian and impressionist returned to his SNL roots for the Andy Samberg-hosted season finale this past weekend.

Hader is also currently working on Judd Apatow’s forthcoming flick, Trainwreck. He is next expected to appear onscreen in the Sundance-acclaimed drama, The Skeleton Twins, alongside fellow SNL alum Kristen Wiig, which is due in September.
