It appears Saturday Night Live's veteran Kim Kardashian impersonator may not be back next season.
Nasim Pedrad, who is also the longest-running female player on the NBC sketch comedy series, told a panel at Austin's ATX Television Festival on Sunday that she has "an apartment in L.A. and as far as I know, I'm in L.A. now."
Pedrad has been in Los Angeles filming Mulaney, Fox's new comedy from SNL boss Lorne Michaels, which is based on the life of SNL writer John Mulaney, who's also the star of the show.
While Michaels had previously suggested the Fox show's production schedule would allow Pedrad to do both, the actress said, "I think we're all in with [the new] show," although she hasn't "heard any official word so far."
Although Pedrad has been arguably underutilized in recent seasons of SNL, she and Jay Pharoah did have quite the run this past year with their "Waking Up with Kimye" recurring sketch, especially with Kardashian and new husband Kanye West constantly giving them new material to parody.
