A little over year following Macklemore and Ryan Lewis' controversial Grammy wins, it appears the duo is gearing up for a new record.

Responding to a fan on Twitter who seemed disappointed to ring in the new year without "a new Macklemore album," the Seattle rapper tweeted Thursday: "You will this year. Believe that."

Should Macklemore and Kendrick Lamar both release their respective new LPs before the Grammys' Sept. 30 deadline, 2016 could present the opportunity for a 2014 rematch. But let's not get ahead of ourselves.
