Rock in Rio has expanded the lineup for its inaugural USA event, set for May 8-9 and May 15-16 in Las Vegas.
Already boasting the likes of Taylor Swift, Bruno Mars, Metallica, Linkin Park, No Doubt and Ed Sheeran, organizers revealed during a press event on Tuesday evening that Charli XCX (who performed an acoustic set during the announcement), Sam Smith, Tove Lo, Foster the People, Mikky Ekko, Gary Clark Jr, Bleachers, Saints of Valory and James Bay are among those added to the lineup.
The two-part fest will be split into rock-centric (May 8-9) and pop-centric (May 15-16), with acts performing on two stages during alternating time slots, with the goal of allowing attendees to see (or hear) each artist if they wish.
Tickets for both weekends go on sale Jan. 20.
