Album sales tracker HitsDailyDouble projects the unexpected collection will likely outsell the Fifty Shades of Grey soundtrack, which released on Tuesday.

Regardless, it's almost certain a Republic Records project (the label released both sets) will dethrone Taylor Swift's 1989 to take over the No. 1 spot in the States.

Despite the $12.99 price tag on iTunes, Drake has emphasized his set is a mixtape and not a proper record.

Billboard has subsequently reported Drake's new project will likely debut at No. 1.

Update: As of Feb. 14, industry insiders are projecting a 500,000-plus debut for Drake's tape. (via Billboard)
