Death Row Records co-founder Marion "Suge" Knight learned Thursday morning he will have to stand trial for murder and attempted murder charges stemming from a January incident in which the former rap mogul allegedly ran over two individuals with his truck.

Actor and filmmaker Cle “Bone” Sloan suffered serious bodily injuries and Terry Carter was killed in the hit-and-run which took place outside a burger stand in Compton, Calif.

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Ronald Coen ruled Thursday the case will indeed go to trial. A preliminary hearing had been ongoing since Monday.
