Tyler, the Creator is looking to shed past criticism of homophobic lyrics with a new T-shirt to promote gay equality.
The shirt features neo-Nazi/white supremacist group Stormfront's "White Pride World Wide" logo reappropriated with rainbow colors and the words "Golf Pride World Wide" as a symbol of anti-homophobia.
Tyler himself appears in the first promo image (seen above), wearing the shirt and holding hands with another man.
He wrote on Tumblr that what "tops it off is the homoerotic tone of the hand holding, which to some degree HAS to piss off the guys who takes this logo serious. This made the photo even more important to me, because it was me playing with the idea of taking the power out of something so stupid."
Tyler's full letter can be found here. More information on his upcoming merchandise can be found on the Golf Wang website.
