Only days after testing a live episode of sophomore comedy Undateable, NBC has made a big leap and renewed the show for an all-live third season.

The news comes as the networks continue to solidify their fall schedules, with the Peacock earlier in the day scrapping a number of its other comedies such as One Big Happy, About a Boy and Marry Me.

This week's live episode of the Chris D'Elia-led series featured guest appearances from the likes of Zach Braff, Ed Sheeran, Kate Walsh and Scott Foley. Overall, the show is averaging around 5 million total viewers this season and its last two episodes have been steady with a 1.3 rating.

Following the series finale of Parks of Recreation earlier this year, Undateable is suddenly NBC's veteran comedy and the sole half-hour returning next season.
