Nitro Fidelity must be doing something right, because their first-ever NiFi Festival in Kentucky will be headlined by the likes of Green Day, Kings of Leon and Miranda Lambert.
Set for August 28-30 at the Kentucky Speedway in Sparta, Ky., the three-day event boasts an unusual lineup that includes Brantley Gilbert, Weezer, Jake Owen, Hank Williams Jr., Bleachers, The Joy Formidable, Josh Turner, Spoon, Gov't Mule, Black Lips, Jana Kramer, Moon Taxi, The New Pornographers, Benjamin Booker, Built to Spill and more.
While Miranda Lambert and Kings of Leon are each supporting their latest albums, last year's Platinum and 2013's Mechanical Bull, respectively, Green Day is coming off their recent induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as the band is said to be working on a new album.
NiFi festival organizers note that additional acts will be announced at a later date, but tickets go on sale Thursday (May 28) at 10 a.m. EST.
