Mac Miller is finished with his third album, which will mark his major label debut on Warner Bros. Records.
The rapper said Thursday afternoon on Twitter that it took more than two years to complete and that he had eliminated "nine different albums" worth of material before reaching the finished product.
"I worked very hard and thought very long about the statement I wanted to make with my major label debut," he said, adding: "I've never felt this good about a project before."
The forthcoming record is Miller's first since his 2013 effort, Watching Movies With The Sound Off, which debuted with 101,795 copies sold despite going head-to-head with Kanye West's Yeezus and J. Cole's Born Sinner.
