Apple on Wednesday unveiled a number of updates to its existing products, as well as a few new ones, during the company's annual announcement event.
The tech juggernaut first revealed a larger iPad called the iPad Pro, compatible with a new Apple Pencil (stylus) and smart keyboard, much like Microsoft's previously released Surface Pro.
iPad Pro boasts a 12.9-inch screen with a 2,732 x 2,048 pixel display and 10 hours of battery life, in addition to a slew of laptop-like features. Due in November, a 32GB Wi-Fi version starts at for $799, followed by the 64GB Wi-Fi for $949 and a 128GB Wi-Fi/cellular edition for $1,079.
Also announced was a long-awaited update to Apple TV, including a new remote with touch capabilities and voice commands courtesy of Siri, Apple's personal assistant.
The 32GB version of Apple TV will cost $149, while a 64GB edition will run $199. Both will ship in October.
As expected, Apple CEO Tim Cook also revealed the new iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus, with 12-megapixel cameras (versus the previous 8-megapixel) and features such as Live Photos, 3D Touch and 4K video capabilities.
The new iPhone 6s starts at $199 (16GB) and the iPhone 6s Plus starting at $299 (16GB), available for pre-order this Saturday (Sept. 12) and arriving on Sept. 25.
