A fire on Thursday damaged Eminem's childhood home, which is pictured on the cover of his latest album, The Marshall Mathers LP 2.

According to Detroit Free Press, the city's fire department responded to the blaze Thursday evening. The fire reportedly damaged portions of the top floor, but at press time, the fire department had not revealed information about the cause.

As we previously reported, the house, located at 19946 Dresden in Detroit's east side, was up for auction last year, but it failed to sell for a minimum $500 bid. It was recently placed back on the auction market with a starting bid of $1.
