Chance the Rapper will not be performing Monday night at a New York charity event hosted by the Robin Hood organization, the group confirmed on Twitter today.

According to Billboard, the Chicago MC was hospitalized earlier today, forcing him to scrap his appearance on behalf of Robin Hood, which is "fighting poverty in New York City."

While tonight's event will move forward sans Chance, the organization apparently didn't have much trouble recruiting great talent to fill in, as Anderson .Paak, Mark Ronson and Joey Bada$$ will perform instead.

It's unclear the nature of Chance the Rapper's illness, he previously canceled multiple festival appearances and a number of tour dates in 2014 due to the flu and tonsillitis.
