Not only did The Black Keys' new album, Turn Blue, release on the same day as Michael Jackson's posthumous Xscape, but it appears the records are both in the running for No. 1.

As Billboard reports, Turn Blue is aiming for a debut of 150,000 copies sold this week, while Xscape is only 10,000 copies behind. If The Black Keys start on top, it would be their first No. 1 on Billboard 200 albums chart. Meanwhile, Jackson would receive his seventh chart-topper should his album pass the rock duo's new set.

The news comes in the same week that Keys drummer Patrick Carney blasted Jackson's record, saying it's "bullshit" and is merely capitalizing on the late pop star's name because Epic Records CEO L.A. Reid "needed a new boat."
